Solvents@work

ESIG is dedicated to promoting the safe use of solvents and supporting manufacturers as well as any user of solvents in adhering to the highest safety standards. We provide a wide range of Product Stewardship materials such as posters and best practice guidelines, which offer valuable insights into handling solvents safely. Developed in close cooperation with industry experts such as the European Safety Federation (ESF), they include next to some generic do’s and don’ts, guidance on  flammability, the use of gloves and the measurement of solvent vapour concentrations.

Additionally, we collaborate with the UK Solvents Industry Association (SIA) to develop informative safety films on transport and storage to further enhance understanding and awareness in this area.

Our material is regularly reviewed and updated when necessary and is  available in several languages.
