Who’s Who – The People Behind ESIG

Our “Who’s Who” campaign has quickly become a real audience favourite. It shines a spotlight on the people who shape ESIG and offers a behind-the-scenes look at our network. Each profile tells a small story – and that authentic glimpse resonates strongly with our followers.

Colleagues already featured include:

    • 2025: Rob Oades, Anna Tancorra, Christian Fetter, Adrian Tristram and Aurélie Carlier
    • 2026: Jérôme Durantet, Vincent Porcelli,  Özgür Katak, and, most recently Maryam Zare Jeddi

And the series will continue:

    • July: Zatoon Begum
    • September: Thomas Mensing
    • November: Karen Smet
    • January: Bill Atkinson from the SIA (UK Solvents Industry Association)

The campaign remains one of our most successful formats, generating high reach, strong engagement, and consistently positive feedback.

Website Relaunch – Clearer, More Modern, More User Friendly

Our website relaunch has been successfully completed, marking a major step forward in structure, usability, and content presentation. The three core sections — Key Applications, Simply Essential, and Discover Solvents — have now been merged into one streamlined and coherent structure. The result is a modernised appearance, smoother navigation, and faster access to our most important content.

The final updates include:

    • a new, fresh landing page,
    • fully updated Key Applications with clearer messaging,
    • modernised Simply Essential materials that make our topics even easier to understand.

A heartfelt thank you to Cefic for their continuous support — and to Francesca and Helene, whose commitment and energy were key to bringing this project to a successful conclusion.

LinkedIn & Website on the Rise

Our communication activities continue to deliver strong results across both LinkedIn and the ESIG website. Reach is steadily increasing and, more importantly, we are engaging exactly the audiences most relevant to ESIG.

On LinkedIn, we now count 1,101 followers, with particularly high engagement driven by the Who’s Who posts and our Safety@Work materials. The audience remains diverse, spanning commercial, technical, and regulatory roles.

The website shows similarly strong momentum. Since November 2025, it has attracted 10,169 users, and in September 2025 alone, usage was 45% higher compared to the previous year. Content with high practical value — including safety videos, publications, and regulatory information — continues to draw the most attention. Clear traffic peaks follow our communications: Newsflash and Newsletter consistently trigger significant increases in website visits, supported by stable open rates above 20%, confirming their role as key drivers of reach and engagement.

“Solvents – Simply Essential” – Three New Stories About the Invisible Power of Solvents

Solvents are all around us – but what makes them so special? Our latest Simply Essential features reveal exactly that: short, accessible insights full of “aha” moments. Each application tells its own story, showing how solvents enable things we often take for granted.

    • The Magic of a Perfume
Without solvents, there is no scent. They dissolve, carry, and release hundreds of aroma molecules – bringing even the finest essences to life.
    • Precision in Metalworking
In metalworking fluids, solvents ensure perfect lubrication, cooling, and cleanliness – the invisible engineering behind modern high-precision manufacturing.
    • Our next one will be on Powering Energy & Infrastructure
Whether in a wind turbine or deep in a drilling well, solvents keep lubricants stable, protect equipment under extreme conditions, and ensure that systems run reliably.

Together, these new stories show that solvents are the quiet high-performance building blocks of our world – versatile, effective, and essential.

Do you also have an exciting story to share about solvents?
