ESIG has updated the gloves film in 6 different languages
In close collaboration with the Solvents Industry Association (SIA) and the European Safety Federation (ESF), ESIG has updated the “Solvents and the Safe Use of Gloves” safety film. This educational video shows how to select the appropriate gloves for a particular solvent and maximise the protection. The film compliments our Best practices Guidelines, “Safe Use of Gloves for the Handling of Solvents”, and our poster “10 Tips for the Safe Use of Gloves”. All materials are available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The film also exists in a Greek version.

Solvents training with SIA
in In October, the UK-based Solvents Industry Association (SIA) in cooperation with ESIG organised another Solvents training course in Brussels.
During this extensive 2-day introduction to the Solvents industry, participants boosted their knowledge on:
- Where solvents come from;
- Types of solvents;
- Solvents end-uses and applications;
- Safety, health, environment and legislation & solvents;
- And many more.
The number of seats for our Solvents trainings is limited to encourage interaction and dynamic discussions. You can already register now on the waiting list for our next Solvent Training session on 16th and 17th May 2023 in Ludwigshafen, kindly hosted by BASF.
Courses are free for ESIG members. A fee of 250€ per session is asked to non-ESIG members.
