Dear ESIG, OSPA and HSPA Members, dear Friends of the ESIG Community,

Another eventful year is drawing to a close – and it is time to pause, reflect, and look ahead together. The past months have shown how much we can achieve when we work together: Whether at the successful Solvent Training Session in September, the lively General Assemblies, or the new communication campaigns – everywhere you can feel the commitment, curiosity, and passion that define our community.

The challenges have not become any smaller: Regulatory requirements are increasing, and expectations for sustainability continue to grow. Yet, especially in these times, the importance of open and mutual exchange becomes clear. The ESIG Stakeholder Day in April 2026 will once again provide a forum to find solutions together and actively shape the future of the European solvent industry.

I am particularly proud of the people behind the topics: The “Who is Who” campaign has impressively shown how diverse and dedicated our members are. Their stories, expertise, and personal commitment make the difference – and they make ESIG, OSPA, and HSPA approachable and human.

Together, we have also achieved a lot in product stewardship, the development of safety standards, and communication. The new guidelines, films, and initiatives are visible signs of our commitment to sharing knowledge and taking responsibility.

My sincere thanks go to everyone who contributes with passion and ideas – whether in the association, in companies, or as part of our networks. Let us carry this momentum forward and shape 2026 together: With openness, team spirit, and the courage to take new paths.
