25 years and thriving. ESIG was created in 1996 when major European producers of oxygenated and hydrocarbon solvents decided to join forces to actively promote the sustainable, safe and responsible use of solvents by building alliances, sharing information and engaging with industry partners, downstream users, as well as EU policy-makers and regulators.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The topics common to the Hydrocarbon Solvents Producers Association (HSPA) and Oxygenated Solvents Producers Association (OSPA) are tackled nowadays by our four working groups (Advocacy, Communications, Product Stewardship and Air Quality) that develop our position papers and materials.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the year, we have been sending out monthly newsflashes to highlight the achievements of our association.
