This year, ESIG, in collaboration with the Solvents Industry Association (SIA), hosted once again several successful training sessions aimed at building expertise in the solvents industry for both members and non-members. Held at the Cefic office in Brussels in June and at LyondellBasell from October 8 to 9, these two-day sessions provided essential insights into the world of solvents with two key modules: Introduction to the Solvents Industry<\/em> and Solvents and Their Applications<\/em>.<\/p>\n The first day introduced newcomers and those looking for a refresher on the fundamentals of the solvents sector, while the second day focused on practical applications and the role solvents play in everyday products. The course structure encourages small-group discussions and interactive learning, which participants found particularly engaging and helpful.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s a glimpse of the enthusiastic feedback from attendees:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been in solvents for years but learned so many new things, especially in the applications part!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cPlease keep offering this \u2013 I\u2019d even like a more in-depth look into certain applications.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI appreciated the overview of the solvent market\u2019s evolution, especially learning about diverse applications.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cUnderstanding the basics of what we work with really made me realize the impact of solvents in our daily lives.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe sustainability aspect was enlightening, and I hope the course becomes available to everyone working with solvents.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cCovered all essential topics and kept it interactive.
