n-hexane discussion<\/h2>\n

In the European Union, the harmonised classification for n-hexane (EC: 203-777-6, CAS 110-54-3) is being modified from STOT RE 2* (H373) to STOT RE 1 (H372, nervous system) and the specific concentration limit of \u22655% will be deleted; ref: [04.01-ML-014.03] (europa.eu)<\/a>, adoption at the CARACAL session of January 2024. This updated classification will be part of the ATP 22.<\/p>\n

This change will have no implications on most n-hexane containing substances, especially those having <5% hexane in their name, in particular:<\/p>\n
