REACH Generic Exposure Scenarios (GES) - PREAMBLE
The European Solvent Industry Group (ESIG) and their User's trade associations grouped in ESVOC jointly agreed to lead the activity aimed at describing Generic Exposure Scenario (GES), including guidance on their development and use. These ideas and principles, have subsequently been adopted both by Cefic and the European Chemical Agency (ECHA). These pages hence represent an efficient and consistent basis for fulfilling many of the obligations of solvent manufacturers and suppliers under REACH. Chemical companies are individually responsible for their respective REACH registrations and related obligations.
