One of ESIG's objectives is to communicate clear recommendations on health, safety and environmental protection to solvent users in a form that can be readily understood. ESIG organises regular meetings with downstream users, through ESVOCCG, in order to discuss and review EU regulatory developments in the area of health and safety.

Health

The legislative areas of relevance to ESIG in relation to health and safety of handling solvents include legislation related to workers safety and health (EU and National Legislation on OELs - Occupational Exposure Limits).
