US EPA - latest developments on VOCs control and reactivity-based regulation
On September 13th, 2005, the United States Environment Protection Agency (EPA) has released:
- an interim guidance on the State Implementation Plans (SIPs) development
- revisions to the California SIP and Revision to the definition of VOCs 'Removal of VOC Exemptions for California's Aerosol Coating Products Reactivity-based Regulation. -

New Guidelines on the application of the ATEX (ATmosphere EXplosive) Directive
At its 30th of July 2005 meeting, the ATEX Standing Committee (composed of the EU Member States representatives) has approved the second updated edition of the guidelines on the application of Directive 94/9/EC on the approximation of the laws of the Member States concerning equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially Explosive Atmoshperes. -
